This is a film by Matt Lougee. Here is his statement about it:

In our daily lives we get used to things. We become accustomed to our surroundings, so much so we have the idea that things are permanent. They never are. Sometime, someday it will change. Whether it's a building being demolished, a tree falling down, a neighbor moving away or god forbid someone dying, things change. Expected or not the change is sudden. One day the building, the tree, the neighbor is there but the next it is not. The process of change ends and we are left with something new. Over time we become accustomed to the new condition and that becomes the new normal.

Now here is my statement about the choreography I created for this. There are 3 things to consider:

1. We were not allowed to move from our spots. One take, one shot.
2. We were restricted to all upper body movement (though I flubbed this a bit by having my partner throw a knee towards the end, for the most part it's all upper body).
3. There are no camera tricks here. This is our natural speed.
