Oh WOW...
I never actually got to go to Shea, I became a Mets fan when Piazza went from my local Ddogers to the Marlins and then Mets...and now I'll never get to go! :( I walways wanted to! It looked so...so PERFECT for the mets on TV! Blue walls--not black and cold like Citi, but Mets-blue!--and the Apple...Piazza, Edgardo, Franco...wow!
WHY do we tear down old stadiums? Europe has old castles all over the place! Boston, Chicago, NEVER TEAR DOWN FENWAY AND WRIGLEY!

because i'm a real fan of baseball and give credit when it's due!! i hate the yankees because i appreiciate a good rivalry! the mets have their moments aswell and deserve credit too! before i die i want to go to all the baseball stadiums. yes,red sox fans like this do exist!

i'm a die hard sox fan from boston! i went to yankee stadium for a red sox game and then returned for a mets game sep 27th 2009 and saw johan santanna beat the marlins. both stadiums were cool but i have to admit, shea stadium was rockin and was alot louder than yankee stadium! mets fans love their team win or loose. but i liked both stadiums. i had to go to the place where bucner happend! both places should still be standing.

I`m a yankees fan, I hate wat is occuring in New York. They get rid of the two stadiums wit history in it. First Yankee Stadiums, when you win 26 world titles, 26!!! you should never leave your home. First we get a piece of crap, Joe Girardi, as manager who was there during our 90`s takeover, but he was not manager. then a new stadium, bad call. On the mets side of things, their stadium is nice looking at night, home of the Bukner incident, none of these stadiums should be taken down.
