however the likes of clapton, bb king, the edge,slash (video even on youtube), lennon,dylan, eric burdon, Muddy Waters, Rolling stones & many others
either cite rory as an influence OR recognise rory for his talent.

strangely enough though Slash didnt mention it in his autobiography.
another BRILLIANT guitarist is Tommy Bolin OR Roy Buchanan (all 3 guitarists died unfortunate early deaths) they are recognised by the music community as brilliant players.

RORY was the best live player of all time .He owned the crowd .I recently discovered him and have since purchased all CDs and D.V.Ds.Stagestruck is the best live record I have ever heard.I started playing Guitar again after a ten year layoff inspired by Rory.R.I.P. Strat King

believe its or not , my mom meet this guy way for i was born in the netherlands and she fell in love with him (;
