I thought he said "nice outfit" before shooting at Batman.

He did but I left it out because the intention of the video was to show the official transformation/birth of the Joker instead of the face off between Batman & Napier.

Falling into that vat of chemicals didn't kill him, it just made him......stranger.

This movie has alot of symbolism, sub plots, and puzzles that eventually connect and merge to each other... this scene, Batman's responsible for Jack Napier to becoming the Joker by having him falling into a vat, to his rebirth. Whereas later, Batman is responsible for the Joker falling again, this time, to his death.

I like Bale's Batman but the voice was the main problem with him. He sounded like something got caught in his throat while he was talking. Keaton and Conroy had their own ways of making Bruce and Batman sound like 2 different people. The Nolan films are good but BTAS,the Burton films and the Arkham games are all better versions of Batman than them.

Bale's Batman voice was normal in Batman Begins. But starting with The Dark Knight he started using the OTT growling voice. People try to defend Bale's Batman voice by saying he's trying not to sound like Bruce Wayne but Michael Keaton's Batman as well as Kevin Conroy's did 2 different voices for Bruce and Batman but they did it well necause they used a deep voice but Bale did the stupid growl instead of a realistic deep voice. Keaton and Conroy are the best Batmen.

I love Keaton's Batman as well, I felt he was a more complex Batman than Throat Cancer man.

The fact that Keaton's Batman kills is one of the reasons I like him. As much as I like Batman his no kill rule really annoys me. In this series Batman knows the Joker deserves to die and he does kill him. The non killing versions of Batman don't seem to realise that taking his enemies to an asylum that doesn't cure them and one they can easily escape from does nothing to stop them. The animated series version is my favourite but the no kill rule is the only bad thing about that one.

Michael Keaton's Batman was more willing to kill criminals. He's my favourite film version of Batman and he's the only version apart from the early comics one who doesn't have the stupid no kill rule. At least the Keaton Batman knew that beating villains up then taking them to Arkham did nothing to stop them. Keaton had a more threatening Batman voice compared to Bale's choking. Bale's Batman sounded more like a guy with throat cancer than a threatening hero.

And Jack Napier is responsible for Bruce Wayne becoming Batman as well.
