  • Look at Batman's face while je was holding Jack. He thinks about it and it looks like he decides not to save him. Then Jack falls into the acid pit. I really enjoyed the two Batman movies with Michael Keaton, since that Batman was way darker than Bale's Batman. Keaton's Batman was a killer, who was shooting at the Joker in the end of the first movie and in the second movie he killed a clown by attaching a bomb to his belly and kicking himdown the stairs.

  • @biostyle From the script:

Batman leaps and tries to grab Jack's hand.

Jack drops but catches himself on a pipe. He's slipping.

Batman reaches, gets a poor grip. He stares, perplexed.

at the stricken expression in Jack's eyes.

Jack is sliding out of Batman's grasp. A long BEAT --

Jack looks up at him in terror and SLIPS AWAY to plunge

the TWO STORIES DOWN into the CATCH BASIN of BUBBLING,

TOXIC WASTE, SCREAMING ALL THE WAY.

  • @rattinator55: Whatever. I bet The Dark Knight will fade into obscurity as soon as they make another Batman movie starring someone else as Batman and the Joker. TDK is the most overrated movie of the late 2000's. Not even Harry Potter or LOTRs were as hyped as TDK.

  • @rattinator55: I never said Keaton was the PERFECT Batman or that Nicholson was the perfect Joker. However, they managed to strike the balance between fiction and reality, didn't make any useless improvisations and stayed true to the characters. Lastly, their performances aren't as overrated as Bale's and Ledger's - I dislike hyped movies more than I dislike bad movies.

  • How the hell did he get his scars? His dad, by Batman? Wtf?

  • @Fantezism I always thought that as well. The Nolan bat suit's ears aren't long enough, and the suit looks better in '89 because the cape covers the shoulders like a cloak.

  • @Fantezism Ok. Sad for you.

  • @Cockonduty: Oh I'm sorry. I can't understand a thing you're saying.
