China is not modern. Mentally, China is still very primitive. In terms of humanity, she is more primitive than many nations (including particularly Tibet). The Chinese Communists and Leftists have destroyed all Chinese, and almost all Tibetan culture. "Chinese" who support their NATIONAL policy to Tibet could not understand classical Chinese books anymore.

I hope the day will come when ITC isn't necessary anymore cause Tibet is a free again.
You do really good work. Thank you.

Last year, I met and worked with a lovely young Chinese teacher who loathed and 'feared' everything to do with Buddhism. She viewed Tibetans as barbarian and uncivilized who had to be liberated by Chinese. Nothing we said could change her mind. Such power has a life time of censorship, supression of free thought and speech. Sad, very sad to think that apparently most "modern" Chinese share her attitude.

why do people have to fight for their right if they do not think in the same way as the authorities. I am so sad and angry when I see the people lose the consciousness about whey they are doing.
