Hi. I'm going to try and learn that. it looks so much fun. Do you have any tips on what type of kite would work for just a beginner? I don't want to be strapped into the whole system and all, I want one like yours. Oh and I don't need a huge kite, because I'm female and dont expect to do tricks or anything. Thnks!

@CYMRU619 Work real hard for some allowance and pay for some lessons, or ask your parental units to help you out. Power kiting can be deadly, but with propper training, you can make it safe!
Also, you're lucky, at age 12, you won't need to spend $1000 on a kite, you could easily get away with a 3 meter kite for $150!!!
Get started young, get GOOD and maybe one day you'll get sponsored!

im 12 and i would like to try this sport ive got a scrub board and i have a skateboard. could i do it if i had a power kite?

I also have such a kite as you, (Radsails 3.0) !
I already fly a long time with it, and today I tried to Kitelandbord for the first time !
But i think my Tries went better :D
(Perhaps the reason for this is that I have a snowboard and a Skateboard !
