do you think there is a difference between a man who grabs a woman by her neck and pushes her against the wall during an argument and the man who punches his woman in the face for not having dinner ready? Basically the question is do you feel all abuse from a man is the same. Is it to break a woman down and instill fear or can it be a man who lost his temper in a heated moment? Neither is right but a lot of men could fall under the latter category (still not right).

Yo bro you know what's funny. My ex told me her man before me used to beat her. She actually said something twisted like I used to feel like he was protecting me. I didn't treat her that way. And she turned around and wigged out on me all the time. Years after we broke up, she told me that I should have been more assertive towards her. In other words I was a "pushover" That bugged me the f*ck out. man.

do you think verbal and mental abuse froma man is less worthy of the term abuse because he never put his fist to her face? my first bf verbally and mental abused me badly, i would wish he would just hit me so i had an excuse to leave. you can see physical scars, but noone sees emotional and mental scars, bruises heel, but memories last a lifetime.

When some punk crazy nigga is beatin a woman all the time, the woman has got to question her relationship to self. A punk knows which woman he can beat on and which ones he can't. Trust me, he KNOWS. I can't even be in a relationship with a man who is argumentative, much less violent. If a man even as much as grab my wrist I'm letting him know his momma will be visiting him at the morgue. Pushing, grabbing, you can't take any of that shit lightly. Get the damn kitchen knife!

Domestic violence is mostly co-dependent.  Back in the day women might have put up with it cause they didn't have any rights. Today there is no excuse. Once a dude wouldn't leave my house and tried to get violent, I told him I'm not callin no cops and one of us gonna die tonight, I had a knife in my hand at that point. He knew I meant that shit. He wished all kinds of evil shit on me, but his ass knew to get the fuck out cause she CRAZY! I will not tolerate that mess!
