The Biblke is referring to false idols not Jesus Christ. and catholics do not worship stautes or paintings, they are used as devices to focus attention on prayer, just like Rosary beads.
Like so much of your 'new' religion it is so modern that it has lost contact with ancient christianity.

@4HIM27 The Catholic Church brought together all the Gospels etc and decided what was and what was not included in the Bible. Is that a better explanation?

@ned262626 Catholics didn't make the bible. The Holy Spirit worked with 40 authors. They weren't Catholics

@22grena I truly understood. I got saved only by God's grace. I heard a testimony of a Catholic Priest who converted becoming a born-again Christian after serving at the foot of the pope for almost 20 years. If God opened the eyes of a priest he can open anyone eyes. Leviticus 26:1 “‘Do not make idols or set up an image or a sacred stone for yourselves, and do not place a carved stone in your land to bow down before it. I am the LORD your God." But in Catholic we kneel down to a statue of Mary.

look, i'm a believer in Jesus and all, but please, go to see a psychiatrist before you confirm something like this being true. It'd be great for the belief in God if it were, but there are psychiatric terms that could debunk supposed miracles.
