Detroit-Windsor 2009 Fireworks Grand Finale

Detroit, Michigan and Winsor, Ontario, really work together to make one of the largest and most spectacular annual pyrotechnic displays in the world happen. Over 1,000,000 gathered in Detroit to watch the fireworks this year.

@theMichaeltube Our fireworks also celebrate Canada's Independence Day (July 1st). Before each show, planes fly past with flags from both countries. It's really an awesome moment and everyone is full of patriotic sentiments then.

Why they do them when they do is beyond me, but I'm always out of town over the 4th, so it works out awesome.
