The round river-rock is about 2 feet in diameter - granite?... unsure. Probably weighs over 150 pounds?.. unsure - one person can barely budge it. Get 9 people to put their curled index finger under the rock and repeatedly say "nau" (nine) and try to raise it. If less than 9 people - make up for 9 by some folks using index fingers of both hands. Unbelievable as it may be - the rock goes up - over your head level if you continue. Seemed like if you stop saying nau - or more likely as I observed- if you start 'feeling' that the rock is not goign to go up any further - you feel the incredible weight of the rock and it comes crashing down.

Is it the rock? is it the location? is it your collective power of consciousness (believe you can do it - and you can")? I dont know. I had experienced a similar rock in Kashmir 30 years ago. Two things I can say that I observed. (1) This is real, no jokes. and (2) as I stared at the rock saying nau nau nau... I honestly felt like I was one with the rock and everything around me. No doubt about it - all mumbo jumbo aside, there is absolutely an energy field that you feel that is unmistakable. You are left with a feeling that that is indescribable.

  • Btw....who knows more about the weight of a rock? A geologist who has never lifted one? Or a person who spent half their life dragging them around? Derp. (Not to rag on geologists. I am just showing you picked the wrong profession to prove the point.)

  • @Starnebula100's quote "@TheCountic16 If you had ever been to a gym you would know what a 500-pound weight is. That rock is not more than 50 pounds."

I am a body builder and ultra marathon runner. All I do is lift weights. I have moved *many* rocks and boulders in construction jobs as well. Way to fail at your comeback. The reality is that a rock that size weighs 500 pounds.

  • @TheCountic16 If you had ever been to a gym you would know what a 500-pound weight is. That rock is not more than 50 pounds.

  • @Starnebula100 LOL....that does not look like a rock that weighs 50 pounds. It looks to weigh about 500 pounds.

  • i could curl that weight w one arm... piss off

  • This looks like a rock that weighs below 50 pounds. I am a geologist and I can estimate the wt of a rock approximately. If 7-8 people put their fingers below it and coordinate their lifting effort, it is not at all surprising that they are able to lift it. In simple words, force (in other words weight of the object) is uniformly distributed between all people. So, each person is experiencing not more than 6-7 pounds. Why do people fall for such things all over the world?

  • Its called weight distribution

  • Dude 150 pounds? I can bench 450 pounds, nothing special here. & By saying Nau nau all together gets them to lift the rock in sync thats why it feels lighter for them.

  • wOW! tHEY PICKED IT UP WITH THEY'RE HANDS....amazing!!!!
