customer's making me laugh my ass out.... lol.......... tell him to cry to his mom......hahahhahahha.... and i love the tech's line - i couldn't make it out - you were yellling... lol
hahaha it was a simple solution that you probably should have told him, but then again hes the fucking idiot whos too retarded to know how to do a hard reset
Ah, I work tech/commerce support and these morons are rare, but obnoxious. Worst is, for my part, I'm still required to verify them. I don't need as much information as you do, but like you I have to verify. So, I might already know the answer within a minute but their so busy ranting that they won't give me their info and the call ends up being 5 times as long.
Turns out: BE NICE, verify, odds are, the call goes well.
Useful advise when calling tech support, of any kind. Specially if you are this kind of scumbag customers. The more you yell, the less we are willing to help you. I know how Dell account verification works (not Dell directly but Alienware) and sometimes we can bypass some verification steps by asking a simple and straight question. But hell, I do remember getting calls like this... and I loved playing around with them. My goal: get them even more pissed off. Remember: NICE people get more.
The tech should have explained to the caller that the info is required before proceeding with the call. It's easy to tell he was already irritated from the beginning. A little extra communication would have helped calm the guy down.
Screw that guy. I would have hung up.

To be fair, the tech on this call sounds like he couldn't care less from the very beginning of the call, before it got nasty.
