What an extraordinary composition! Great vocals and chords. A kind of rondeau, I suppose. Deeply moving.

When people tell me that Africa has contributed nothing to the world we live in, is bereft of culture, mired in corruption, I listen to this.
The sinuous lyricism, the the teasing chords. The utter conviction.
This heavenly voice.
It is born of something older, more enduring than blues. The Niger has had its musicians for longer than the Mississippi.

i cant help say that its so soothing
greetings from bangalore india
(uploader) There is no translation for the lyrics anywhere but Ali himself wrote for this song:
"God is unique.I went to Koranic school for eight years and whether you are a believer or not when you hear this song,God is present and knows what you are thinking."

@dpatronidis Someone should tell him there's no such thing as an omnipresent God. I know because a voice in my head from someone who lives in the sky told me.

@guwest2 Try tell him yourself because this brother is no longer with us. I don't have an idea about the voices in your head but you can keep them. I and I will keep the old ways.
