IS IT THE SAME WAY WHEN IMPORTING VOCALS AND SYNCING VOCALS AND BEAT TEMPO.DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO DO THAT.MATCH THE VOCALS AND BEAT ON RECORD.

That would be a lot of hassle to keep doing that on new loops. It would be a lot more helpful if it had a drag and drop window with auto loop stretching like Presonus Studio One. Propellerhead just haven't cracked how to do fast workflow. It's like the MIDI side of their software. With being an FL owner, the MIDI workflow is the fastest i've ever worked with and it shocked me on how slow Propellerhead's MIDI side is.

thx...very usefull.
simpel and plain...you got more tipz

I hope they do. I hope they added MIDI-out as well. I don't think I'll bother with it until then because I won't be able to control my external, which my current sequencer can. It can obviously record audio as well making Record seem a bit pointless for the time being.

But what if you don't know the original tempo?
I try to record several drumcomputers with it at different speeds and make small loops out of that that will all be in tempo sync. but thats kinda tricky i find. ableton works beter i think so far.
Seems like a work around to me. It's not a very untuitive way of fitting loops to your song. Ableton Live does thise better ....... so does Tracktion & Sony Acid come to think of it. In Tracktion you just stretch the loop to fit your song. It's incredibly simple & takes about a second!!

yeah, you can also simply change the song bpm to the loop bpm. import the loop and change the song bpm back. this would have the same effect.
i know that record stores tempo informations as chunk in wavfiles. so i wrote a small program to set the tempo for all loops in my sound library. i can now import my loops in any songtempo and record automatically stretch it.
i think propellerhead will add an "stretch tool" to the sequencer in the next record version.

you're right, its abit difficult. but it's possible.
deactivate time stretching for your record (audioclip), loop it, activate the clicker and hit play. change the bpm till your record and the clickersound are in sync. render it and reactivate the time stretching for this clip.
