@Cajaquarius This is a french ad made by BETC EURO RSCG for Canal +, a french TV channel in France. It was created by Matthijs van Heijningen Jr, a Dutch filmmaker. This advertising agency also made "le placard", "La marche de l'empereur" and "Le secret de brockeback mountain" for Canal+. I don't think it was played in Canada.

The bear is in reality the carpet waching all the movies his owner watch, after watching thousands of movies he is imagining himself as a director. You understand it at the end of the comercial :)
