SVP Appeal 2010

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul tackles poverty through Support & Friendship; Promoting Self-Sufficiency; and Working for Social Justice in Ireland.

SVP is the largest, voluntary, charitable organisation in Ireland. We support over 9,500 volunteers throughout the country who provide their time and personal support to the poor and to those forgotten by their communities. Our services tackle poverty in all its forms through the provision of practical assistance to those in need.

We do much more than just address financial hardship; we visit the sick, the poor, the lonely and the imprisoned to form a unique network of social concern. Our members give through working for social justice and the creation of a more just and caring nation.
