ACS (Primary) Synergy - NUS Dance Blast! - A Series of [Un]Fortunate Events 2011

ACS Synergy boys were invited to participate in the ExxonMobil Campus Concerts held on the 4th and 5th Oct 2011 by the NUS Dance Blast!

The boys had a Blast! performing for an incredibly appreciative audience! They all went home on a high and lamented on Facebook that the 2 days passed too quickly! Thank you to NUS Dance Blast! for inviting the boys and giving them this wonderful opportunity.

These kids are good, how long did they practice for this?

@joshuatj Some of the boys (core group of 10 who don't exit) have used some segments of this dance for various competitions and performances throughout this year, so they have been practising since Dec 2010. The others mostly joined sometime mid 2011. As for this exact choreo, the boys had about 4 or 5 sessions to rehearse the blockings and transitions in school plus whatever blocking time they could get from Dance Blast! Glad you enjoyed the dance. :D

@MrFazzywazzy Oh yes, the boys definitely had a fantastic time! Some of them are still on a high! LOL!! Thank you all for making them feel so welcomed.

@denniswan77 oh no worries. My parents came down to watch me perform were not allowed to record the performances either. Bummer. If they're producing a dvd of the concert then we blast! dancers would definitely get it. hahaha. Hope the boys had an awesome time and of course everyone who came down to watch! =)

@MrFazzywazzy I'm very sorry, but no, I did not record the other items because I did not have permission to do so. I convinced them to allow me to record this because I am the parent volunteer for the boys and quasi-"official" videographer. So permission was given only for this item.  Anyway, I believe that they might be producing a video disc of the entire concert? You might want to check with them. Their email - nus.dance.blast.enquiry@gmail.­com

@thestar18 , orhhh! Huiyi! I was wondering which Taiwanese friend you were. :P hehe. If you fix the audio, you'd just mix the two tracks together? or replace it totally? Actually, I was thinking that I could wait till I get the footage of the upcoming World in Singapore concert and then splice these 2 videos together with a whole new soundtrack. Cos the dance is going to be very similar and it's kinda silly putting up 2 videos of essentially the same dance, just different locations.
