Ok Ill play the monstrosity in places like this { Ramsey Lewis "Jubilation" @ Duc des Lombards (Paris) 08-07-11 } while you wank off that brontosaur. Btw I wont mention your mother because who knows she might be a great lady and in general I dont like to insult people that I dont know. You go ahead and insult the upright bass while I travel the world playing Jazz on it . :-)

That's right, dopey, you said it -- your double bass is a "monstrosity". I'd give a brontosaurus a wank rather than play that wardrobe strung with your mother's knicker elastic.

What an uneducated comment. I play both and to me Ray Brown is so far advanced at his instrument. Paul McCartney didn't advance bass past Ray Brown... YOu try to play this monstrosity you wimp. It has far more advanced requirements and is eons beyond it's time

"Monstrocity" is spelled "monstrosity". You just read the correct spelling in my comment. "Moron" is spelled "moron", you moron.

The Doublebass has been around since the 15th Century and ia member of the Violin family. It is NOT a "monstrocity", as you call it. Even Paul McCartney is known to play one.
