Unfortunately, I did not record a tornado destroying my neighborhood. Instead, I recorded the storm at various points in time. This was probably one of the most intense thunderstorms I've ever experienced.

...I am almost positive the figure in the distant sky in the first clip is a funnel cloud. Sorry I couldn't provide a better quality video - my camera isn't that great. :(

  • You should wait at least 30 minutes after the storm is 'over' before heading out. People have been hit by lightning even when it seemed the storm has passed.

  • @plateshutoverlock

I didn't know that. Thanks for the heads up.

  • Scary.

  • It was scary when the storm was at its worst. The winds were incredible, and you could barely see 5 feet ahead of you. Was the worst storm I can remember.

  • im sorry for all my comments but that guy maximumcorruption just pissed me off!

  • It's okay, conspiracy fanatics drive us all crazy - you're not alone.

  • @plateshutoverlock lightning can reach about 56 kms away from the storm so its range to kill somebody is very big

  • DUDE GO IN YOUR BASEMENT!!!!!!

  • i was in a plane when the storm hit and i could feel the plane rock left to right even though we were pn the ground, and it was a big plane

  • Gosh, I remember this. I was in Oakville during this storm, and I had never seen a storm this bad. It scared the hell out of me. And afterwards, everything turned yellow where we were. It wasn't even funny.

I kinda feel sorry for my sister, though. She was playing soccer when the storm hit.

  • Canada is never dry

  • thank god it didnt destroy us!!!!!!!!!!

  • From the looks of it, everything was blown in one direction. Not much damage. This was probably a microburst.

  • sike fake
