If you don't mind being called nigger, then would you mind if non-blacks called you "coon" or "boy"? Yes, you would mind. To justify the continued use of "nigger" or any of its derivatives is nothing but intellectual laziness, and that's why it's used by poor, non-achieving and ignorant (ie intellectually weak) blacks. It's just like women and the word bitch, when a girl is cool with another girl, she might say that's my bitch,, but she ain't gon say that to some random person,, it depends on how comfortable you are with that person,, and that person should respect how you feel about it if he/she wants to be friends,, race is not the issue,,
