Please give feedback on this... I really want to know what my fellow webmasters think.

  • why not? strict

  • It is difficult to implement advanced and new cool website features to strict validating code. If you do get an advanced network to validate, you worked many many more hours to make that happen.

My question is that worth it?

  • Thanks for your video.... Interesting to watch as an amature blogger.... My blog is not functioning correctly at the moment and I have been told that it is because I have 90 markup errors.. I want to fix whatever i need to in order to get my homepage functioning correctly.

  • i agree it does not matter

my m8 is mad about it but i suppose if ur new to coding... so you want to check the code to see if it works then fine

  • I think it's ok if it doesn't validate. my site doesn't but it still works.

  • If it works, it doesn't matter. However, if it validates now, it will probably also work in the next browser update. That is why we require the sites we develop to validate--found out the hard way.

  • Often times when something doesn't work right on your site in every browser by fixing validation errors you also fix the first problem. Another big issue is accessibility for screen readers and when you get errors or warnings about this some of the big sites should possibly reconsider since Target was already sued for this.

Personally I think being unconcerned over validation is just unprofessional and too lazy to really learn your craft.

  • hah same. but yea again just saying like MainTutorials(Tyler) said, it doesn't really matter whether its validated or not, if people want to make a big issue about it (like Microsoft) let them. see if the viewers care.

  • Nice topics....its good to see some one do more then just go over the basic aspects of web development. I dont bother with most of the validation rules, but I do look them over to make sure there are no major errors.

  • If the site is functioning properly I wouldn't stress about it. It's good to tweak things but no biggie.

Oh and I lol'd @ msn passing the test.
