the reason he represents himself as a republican is so he can run, its politics if he ran as independent he wouldnt make it anywhere. You have to pick a party these days if you don't your shit out of luck and republican is his best fit.

well you have to ask yourself this, if the Ron Paul ideals are the mainstream then congress will become that way too because congress will change as the election evolves. i really dont care for my super liberal congressman, but the last guy was a neo-con, so Im waiting for the better candidate. im one of a few thousand votes but will work hard to help an election. we must stop this path of destruction, we were scared into voting for problems, it will take courage to vote for solutions

The only reason you have more dislikes is because you said "I don't think Ron Paul would be that good of a president" when it seems like what you meant was he would not be an effective president. good post otherwise
