Asus EEE PC 900 running eeebuntu

The EEE PC 900 do can make all those fancy effects and they work smooth. eeebuntu 1.0 works mostly of the shelf, only missing cpufreq setup and a sound driver bug which won't allow you to shutdown (both easy to fix).

eeebuntu! Does SMPLAYER work on it please? I hate Totem and VLC because SMPLAYER works with compiz while video is playing if you use the x11 output option ;) Other players create a blue shadow :(

Sorry buddy, can't tell you. The cooler was physically damaged and the vendor had no EEE to replace, so he refund me... Try Ubuntu forums or the EEE IRC channels.

can you offer a howto about installing eeebuntu on eeepc 900. I've got a problem, but may be it's because I use monitor (matrix is broken) can you suggest anything?
