It is Fraps, I run at a smooth 30-50 frames without it.

can anyone give me a link to a good Laptop that can drive AoC on good Quality without any lag? would really appriciate it

I don't have a link but search for a computer with around 4gb Ram, Nvidia 9800+ or the mobile equivalent, and at least a dualcore processor with around 2.2gb ram, quad core is preferable.

I would check places like Tiger Direct, Newegg, or Alienware.

A lot of people have re subbed so it is getting pretty active. I don't know about PvP servers but the PvE servers are doing pretty well. I am on Set and it I actually pretty active. Most of those old bugs are gone and in the last few months I have only run into one bug and that was getting stuck in a doorway in which I sent a petition and it was imediatly answered.

i agree they need to do something bout the low pop servers puts off so many people at least change it from medium to low on the main menu because its just misleading bloodspire lucky to have more than 30 people max and thats just sad for an mmo

Well I guess what defines a server as

"medium" population is subjective, to Funcom it is 3 people. To you it is 100,000,000 people. On tyranny there are a ton of people playing. Maybe Tyranny is the only "medium" pop server, I wouldn't know otherwise. So if you are starting AoC, come to Tyranny, because apparently only 2-3 people are playing on other servers.

lol, I am not "trolling Funcom", you must not be reading my posts. No matter, arguing with you over semantics wasn't my purpose here.

My point was to make it clear to those new players that they should carefully consider choice of server to avoid winding up on a low pop server, as Funcom lists all of them as Medium Population. Look in the server specific forums on AoC's site for a better picture of which servers are ghost towns before you roll.

I am not the one trolling Funcom. They offered a one time free transfer to players, whether or not players decided to use it is another issue. Not all players should have free transfers, that is the way it goes. They still offer the ability to transfer characters to other servers, so current players who have not yet done say may still transfer, if they choose.

Just to be clear, aside from bad management decisions from Funcom, it's a great game on a lot of fronts. I just believe they should be doing further server merges to create more population on the low pop servers, to keep incoming players from experiencing a ghost town when they create on a server that shows "medium pop" but is actually very low pop.

Well, I didn't say it was Funcom's fault that my account wasn't active. It is their "fault", or more accurately, their bad decision, to not offer free transfers to returning players, or to offer free transfers for people on low population servers. And what makes you think I play AoC? I don't, nor do I play any other MMO. They are just massive time sinks. Never did I say "don't play AoC" or complain about the game in any way, so I don't understand your troll comment.

I am commenting on the situation AFTER those server merges. If you came back after the free transfer period was over, guess what, you don't get a free transfer. You have to pay $20. And even after those server merges, several servers continue to have very low pop, like the oceanic servers.

Where have you been? They already did 1 server merge for the US, they went from around 12 servers to about 6 or 7. They merged PVP servers together and some PVE servers together. Also after the server merges they offered a one time free transfer for any one character. So I don't know what anyone would be complaining about.
