This is something my friend, Maren made. I wrote a story a while ago, and she made i video/trailer for it. If you want to read the story, let me know and we'll figure something out. The vid basically sums up the story, though. =)

Dropping a BS Flag on ItsMyLife 1321:

The military does not send Casualty Assistance Officers to girlfriends. They go to next of kin (adult) whether it's parents, grandparents or spouse. Second point of BS: Dog tags and medals are not delivered to the door. Those are not received until after your sailor or soldiers remains have arrived in the US. Don't you dare impersonate a military widow.... Until your blue star has gone gold, you haven't earned the right. Trust me.

I cried through this entire thing. My boyfriend is in Iraq...I know I shouldn't watch these things but sometimes a girl needs a good cry. Can't be tough all the time. Thank you for all of the videos. They are amazing.

we were suppose to get married when he came home and raise our family, :"( i guess things happen for a reason, I LOVE YOU BABYY SO MUCH, i wish you were here and i'll never forget you.. :"( i need some advice, this is so hard.

he said i love you and our son, a few days later some officers came to my door holding his dog tags and ID, i couldnt help but fall to my knees and cry, they said that he got shot, :"( he recieved the purple heart, :"( i look at my son and i think of him evryday, i put my boyfriends dog tags around my sons neck and i always keep his things. :"( i never thought something could hurt so bad, well i was wrong. my sons room if full of my boyfriends things, just to rememebr him.

that was my boyfriends birthday, i told him so what do you want for your birthday, and he goes you, and i told him how about your son, he goes what? i told him i had the baby and it was on his birthday, :"( he was suppose to be home the 1st of october but wasnt able to, i sent him a letter and a picture of our son and me, he said it was the best present ever, :"( he sent me 1 last letter saying he was going out to the field, he promised me he would be home after this for good. :"(

i told him that it was boy and that i didnt want him to worrie more then he had too, and he said i'll always worrie when it comes to my family, i loved him so much.. :"( we kept writing letters and i kept sending him altrasounds of the baby, he told me if i had the baby b4 he got home that he wanted pictures, :"( & as time passed they wanted him to stay 8 more months, he was going 2 be able to come right b4 our baby was born, he could of been there with me. i just had the baby october 8th, 2009

my boyfriend was in the military, we spent the whole time writing each other notes back and forth, we tried having as much fun as possible b4 he went to iraq... a few weeks b4 he left, i found out i was pregnant, i didnt tell him becuz i didnt want him to worrie, but i did tell his friend, i guess his friend told him a couple months later, & he writes me in one of letters, babe what are you having? why did you keep the fact that we were having a baby together?
