Faced with a government that is not heeding their demands, many Americans are simply giving up. But as John Whitehead reminds us in this week's vodcast, we are far from helpless, and this is not the time to surrender our rights.

  • this is noble, but pacifying. I'm looking to join an actual resistance.

  • where do i get in or join

  • @navtel Ya were supposed to have one every 100 years were really over due. By 200 years its gonna be a bitch!

  • At first I thought this video would be some deranged militia-man talking about satrting an (inevitably doomed) armed revolution. I was happily suprised to see you weer speaking about a much more rational, grass-roots approach to political change. I may not agree with all of your positions on social issues, but I cannot falut anyone for encouraging people to defend their civil rights.

  • im in where do sign

  • We've needed a third party for a long time.

We always talk self righteously about one party states. Instead of having one corrupt party, we have two. Part of our problem is that as the country grows larger and more diverse, we become ungovernable.

I'm not ready to write off Obama yet. Excessive spending is a legitimate fear. A deflationary spiral, which the spending is intended to prevent, is also a huge fear.

  • Amen to that, Brother!

    Bless you...
