Any story worth it's salt, that really wants to tell a tale regardless of content, can't be afraid to show amounts of violence and gore. It seems to be a rather two-dimensional way of thinking to say that watching such things makes us demented.

I for one am not demented because I watch this. I am sick and demented because I keep a harem of prepubescent girls in my basement who I do things to on a nightly basis.

Anyway, that aside, love this show, looking forward to re-watching it.
