Hey Bill1122! I hate to dissapoint you, but Neal Schon has played like this long before anybody ever knew who Eddie Van Halen was. And that as they say is that!!!
-
OK...at the risk of pissing everyone off...and let me first say that I believe Neal is one of the greatest guitarists of ALL TIME...with that hair and those overalls he kinda looks like he's auditioning for a role in a 70's production of 'Godspell'. Is it just me?... ;-)
In ANY iteration, I LOVE Journey....thanks for the many years of great music guys!

@TheMoose5150 Actually, Neal didn't join Santana until 1971. And they didn't play Black Magic Woman on Woodstock, they played: Waiting, Evil Ways, You Just Don't Care, Savor, Jingo, Persuasion and Soul Sacrifice. And he is not on any of the woodstock vids either. Greg Rollie however, did play with Santana on Woodstock.
