yeh why do Asians wanna lighten their skin? I remember being made fun of in school in the PH for being darker than them. Whitening was and still is i beliv a complete hit! Since moving to UK and then later on in Aus I've learnt that my colour is perfectly fine despite wot some filos said about my skin obviously brought about ads like these. If I were still livin in PH, I probably wud've tried to lighten my skin to fit the standard of beauty there. which is WHITE, sad coz Asians r mostly brown
@jayc342009 sweetie to be honest, i can't stand people who are as stupid as u are who can't read between the lines… how old r u? 12? sweetie stay in school… ok? :D xoxo
@marikitna FGBIWEGBFIUWFWEGFWEBI!!!!! THAT'S NOT WHAT IT'S SAYING!!! I WOULD BE TALKING LIKE THIS BECAUSE OVER-SENSITIVE PEOPLE LIKE YOU ARE ANNOYING!!! WHY ARE YOU TELLING ME TO CHILL!!! FGVBWEUIFGBQIUBFIQUEBF!!!! YEAH HAVE IT!!!!
Go to Bangkok, Manila, KL, SG. Look at the models in their billboards, magazines, tv.. then look at the people in the streets and nightclubs. might notice a difference between the skin colors in media and in real life. Real life people sometimes try in vain, often you'd see women wearing the wrong color foundations for example, with their white powdered face contrasting from their naturally brown necks. all to give that illusion. This is deeper than you think this is. And I'm still holding back
For years/ decades the perception of beauty had always been the caucasian beauty. As evident in the modelling industry ages ago and still happens now for instance. It's changing in America, yet it's still stuck widely and openly in Asia. "Being white or closer to white is a privilege, all hail the whites" mentality is still there. Travel to Asia maybe then you'll get it. Little brown girls in Asia are watching this thinking "I'm so ugly because I'm dark."
@jayc342009 you dont get it… an whoa. chill the fuck out… you wouldnt be talkin like that if this was a face to face conversation now would u? you're working yourself up… LOL It is what it is. Commercials like these are embarrassing. I've seen enough of these commercials. And they convey blatant messages that dark skin is not beautiful, "you want the guy to ask you out? whiten your skin".
@marikitna Okay here is a taste of what you gave me. "Who the hell wants a white skin" That was your comment, here is mine. "who the hell wants ugly dark skin, it looks like shit" Yeah did you like that you RACIST FUCK!"!
@marikitna That's not what it's saying at all. You're being like all coloured people, over-sensitive. I'll give you a little example mate, yeah? On videos expressing white beauty coloured people write comments like "wow this is racist" but on vidoes expressing coloured beauty people write comments like "oh, i love black skin". I can't FUCKING stand people like you. White beauty = racist.
whos the guy? reply please ! :)

@jayc342009 … and what? telling your fellowmen that their 'brown skin is NOT beautiful therefore you should whiten your skin' is right?
