hobie cat sailing is so much fun...Dont get me wrong... skiffs are awesome but when you get up on one hull on a hobie theres no way you can match that feeling with a skiff...there are some downsides though.....a multi hull cant point worth a shit and they aren't tremendously great downwind....but when you get them on a reach they fly! :) hope this helped!

how would you rate cat sailing compared to monohulls? atm im very much with the skiff... but ive considered a few times trying out a cat.

This is a Hobie 16 with Spi- very nice sailing and good downwind speed!
