"I Got Rhythm," from George and Ira Gershwin's Broadway musical Girl Crazy, was performed by Fozzie Bear and Rowlf the Dog in episode 420 of The Muppet Show.
Unfortunately, Fozzie is unable to sing the song in rhythm, despite guidance from Rowlf. In the end, Rowlf changes the song to "I Don't Got Rhythm," which works much better for Fozzie. Who could ask for anything more? Statler and Waldorf, who ask for earplugs.

  • The Muppet Show MUST BE REVIVED FOR PRIMETIME TV!! This was the greatest show of all time!!

  • Ha,ha - I love you Fozzie, you're the best!

You're so respectful to Rolf - you're reply to Rolf when he makes his changes, "Yes Sir" .... along with such a surprised, innocent look after reviewing Rolf's changes, 0:42 - 0:45 .

The Muppet Show is one of THE greatest TV shows of all time. It's got more creativity in any 5 minutes of any show than ALL of that from EVERY tv show from the 1990's and 2000's hands down.

RIP Jim Henson [and crew, creative geniuses every one].

  • My fav song

  • My 2 favorite Muppets together

  • He's got intonation too!

  • Fozzie tries so hard.

  • Molto bello!

  • Statler and Waldorf are modeled after two college professors who kept telling Jim Henson to "forget the puppet thing and pursue a real career".

Happily, he didn't take their advice.

  • This should replace all of the stupid reality tv shows....... =D

  • I love this!!!
