Rhydians Lead song from his album the impossible dream
Lyrics
To dream, the impossible dream
To fight, the unbeatable foe
To bear, with unbearable sorrow
To run, where the brave dare not go
To right, the unrightable wrong
And to love, pure and chaste from afar
To try, when your arms are too weary
To reach, the unreachable star
This is my quest, to follow that star
No matter how hopeless, no matter how far
And to fight for the right, without question or pause
To be willing to march into Hell, for a heavenly cause
And I know if I'll only be true, to this glorious quest,
That my heart will lie will lie peaceful and calm,
When I'm laid to my rest
And the world will be better for this
That one man, scorned and covered with scars,
Still strove, with his last ounce of courage,
To reach,
The unreachable
The unreachable
The unreachable star
I'll always dream, the impossible dream
And yes I will reach
The unreachable
Star
I got goosebumps. This is an amazing song.

Is there some reason why someone can't sing the song the way Mitch Leigh wrote this. He wrote it as HE wanted it. Not as some schlocky 2-bit hack of a no-talent arranger tried to artificially insert what he thought was emotion when all that was inserted was crap. Interpolate a few notes -- fine. Take the High F at the end -- great. But not at half speed. It's like playing an old 78 record at 33 speed. The composer told you how to do it. NOW DO IT THAT WAY OR NOT AT ALL!!!!!

No one has ever sung a better version of this song than Rhydian imho. An absolute joy to listen to. And to think, if Sharon Osbourne had had her way we wouldn't have ever heard of him! Still, she has the talent to know good from bad I suppose - oops, no she doesn't.
