I like the "destroyed and faded" look the credits of this season had. Adds a lot of character to them and is somewhat symbolic because this is the last time they'd ever use this style.

Agreed. My impression at first was that they were going for the old school movie look; hence with each castmember it looks like film strips that scroll across the screen.
