  • A XENO TRUCE WHAT HERESY

  • @STARZCAPTAINWOOD you mean Sean Pertwee, and yes he plays as Severus in Fire Warrior, but plays as Proteus in Ultramarines the Movie.

  • that space marine severus is from the space marine movie and he has the same actor voiceing him :D

  • @mch158 I never said they'd fall prey to Chaos, mainly because of the Ethereal's presence. They're still susceptible to psychic powers, such as Eldar Farseers or Chaos Sorcerers using their own respective abilities.

  • @CaptainPengu Actually, no tau has ever succumbed to to warp or became psykers. They stay away from the warp, travelling on the brink of the warp rather than fully immmersing in it. This means their warp travel is worse but they do not fall prey to chaos.

  • @NicholasGeschke Also, the Tau have an incredibly small presence. The amount of territory they hold is minuscule in comparison to the Imperium. The only reason, to be honest, that they haven't been wiped out is that a full-fledged assault on the Tau holdings would mean the Imperium would spread its forces out quite thinly, leaving it susceptible to raids from Chaos, Orks, Necrons, anything. They're also incredibly naive; the new Tyranid codex and the humorous snafu with the Necrons shows this.

  • @NicholasGeschke No they're not

They simply have absolutely NO knowledge of the Warp and have an incredibly weak signature -- hence their lack of Warp drives and a much slower means of space transport than either the Imperium or the Eldar.. They're as susceptible to psychic powers as anything, in fact, they're probably at a disadvantage against any enemy using Psykers. It's just that under the influence of the Ethereals they're resistant, perhaps even immune to corruption.

  • @reneistheman its severus

  • The Tau are an enlightened race - I choose to view them as they were in the beginning - before the backlash: As a young, but idealistic and benevolent people. Their first contacts with outlying Imperial systems caused many to defect - and the following crusade, where they could've wiped out the Imperium's invasion force, but did not - goes to show their goodness.

They honor their agreements - and they are immune to pyschic powers.

Perfect allies against Chaos if you ask me.

  • somehow this is silly. at the beginning constantine and ko´vash are talking and kvash said he will meet the govenor . but then later the admiral and kovash are intruducing eachother again.

anyway the Admiral is the best char of the game :D
