  • throbbing gristle - trolling jazz funk fans since 1979

  • @Radaral2 They used various techniques to get the sounds used on this album. The drums are mice tap dancing with thimbles on their feet, while watching an episode of The Sweeney. The horn sound is created by inserting a trombone into a cows anus and feeding it porridge. The boing sound is a slowed down recording of a person playing slug tennis.

  • It's like if Ian Curtis and Martin Rev mated.

  • this is definetly avant garde music

  • @linkinn18 You should hear The Residents and Nurse With Wound.

  • How did they get some of these sounds?

  • @msnikish in this century.

  • @Dereck89

Not exactly, the dead body cover was later used for the re-issue in 1994.

  • @gaboiturra Fuck I actually googled it. You're right, it's fucking creepy as shit.
