@2destiny80 hello Destiny, my name is Nathan. I too am related to John S. Mosby. If I'm not mistaken I am a direct descendant of him. I guess that means we are related. :)

@rcmd444 Do you recognize Molly? If you remember I Love Lucy, she played Lucy's mother.
-
@2destiny80 Col. Mosby was a superb cavalry officer, tactician and always a gentleman, which is more than you can say for assholes like William Quantrell and Bloody Bill Anderson. They weren't even human; just psycopathic murderers.
-
@Tacom4ster you obviously have very little knowledge of the causes of the civil war. it wasnt just slavery, but the original intent of the constitution the confederacy was trying to save...too bad....
-
Bushwacking murderers is what they were.

Thank you!!! I've wanted to see this show forever!

That is pretty cool! In his later years Mosby sat on his front porch and regaled a young George Patton with tales of his Civil War exploits. I like to think some of Gen. Patton's later tank raids during WWII were modeled after Mosby's cavalry raids and tactics.

I remember this show. It sent me to the library to research John S. Mosby. It was
very popular but political correctness
made it a short-lived series. Sponsors were afraid to touch a show that portrayed
a Confederate hero at the time of the
genesis of the Civil Rights movement. It lived on for years in reruns. Would like to see the episode, "The Gallant Foe", posted. Tod Andrews died in November, 1972, days before his 58th birthday.

I only have two episodes of this show. The other episode is Rebel Christmas that I will be posting during the holiday season.
