There is NO reason to prosecute an individual for trying to file for arms. Even if they lie on the paperwork. They are denied for the reasons they've lied about regardless. Also, the person who files a background check (at least in pa) pays to have it done. There are many people out there that don't lie on their forms and still get denied. My brother did and he has no priors. The system works but we need to stop prosecuting those who fail a check.
