FTAS- Episode 4 (Letting Go)

Becca: Wait, are you guys like boyfriend and girlfriend?
Katie: I don't know. I mean we like each other but he never asked me out.
Becca: Wow! Too confusing.
Katie: Tell me about it. Come on!


Second floor.

Selena: *distant voice* Hahaha stop!
Chris: *distant voice* Haha!
Becca: Woah! They must be by the tables.
Katie: ... I don''t think I wanna go anymore.
Becca: You DO want to see what's going on there right?
Katie: Yeah... I just don't want to get hurt.
Becca: Chris is a good guy, I'm sure he wouldn't.
Katie: Okay, let's go.

Katie peaks behind a bookshelf to reveal Chris and Selena flirting.

Katie: Ugh. How did I know!?
Becca: What's going on? *looks behind also* Oh my gosh! No way. You know what Chris is a downright jerk.
Katie: I knew this was going to happen... again.
Becca: Let's just go.
Katie: No wait.

Katie walks over to the table where Chris and Selena are sitting.

Katie: You know. I thought I could trust you. I though you would have changed and somewhere deep inside I know you did, but this!? This made me change everything I ever though about you. *tears start rolling down her face*
Chris: No Katie it's not like that.
Katie: It's EXACTLY like that Chris.
Chris: No! Katie!
Katie: I'm done. *starts to walk out with Becca*
Chris: *tries to catch up* Katie! Katie*
Selena: Forget her she's just a little old hoe.
Chris: No Selena, you are.
Selena: Excuse me!?
Chris: *ignores her and begins to run*

Outside- Chris can't find the two girls. They are walking home.

Katie: Ugh! I can't take it! That's twice!
Becca: He's just a big ugly jerk. Don't fall for anything again.
Katie: I can promise you... I won't.

Inside Katie's bedroom- her phone starts to vibrate.

Katie: Hello?
Chris: Hi.
Katie: What do you want from me?
Chris: I'm sorry for everything I could have possibly done wrong to you.
Katie: It's always like this with you Chris and I'm sick of it... I'm done.
Chris: I know I let you down in every way I could have possibly let you down in, but you're her Katie. You're the one I find myself constantly thinking about. You're the one I always want to be with and the one I'm always looking forward to see. You're the one who I go to bed thinking about and wake up thinking about.
Katie: Lo-look C-chris I'll call y-you tomorrow.
Chris: Bye.

Katie jumps into bed and begins to cry.

Katie: *mumbles* There's always something.
