in 1996, this would be impossible for anyone who isnt a very talented musician to do, today it would be easier, but not many have the musical talent to put together a track like this.

I came here because of DJ Shadow's "Skull****ery" which was in my school exam.

And I also found this track before, about a year ago, thanks to HP Riot's "I Need You", which I found through their song "I Have Changed," a track I heard on Little Big Planet 2.

Trust me, it's waaay easier to put a track like this together today.

But it's true; not many people today have the artistic vision it took to make this.

Most people are just copying eachother these days.

"Technology" isn't limited to digital. Shadow had good melodies but in no way was he ahead of its time as some would imply on here.

This wouldn't be hard to do in 1996. 1996 had all the technology required for this and more, not everyone could make epic melodies and beats like this is the thing.

In 1996 they had most of the tech we have today in the audio world. Synthesizers for all the basic tones and some quantizing or pattern editing in logic/protools ect for the drum parts towards the end.
