Cool, thanks for the info. I agree, some sort of crossover pipe is needed with our trucks. I'm not looking to rattle my teeth out, but something that has a pair, know what I mean?

@4x4 they are 2.5" in and 2.5" out for both the cats and the muffler.

Question, as far as true duals, is there any sound difference between 2 si/so mufflers and a di/do muffler? providing you have the same engine, same brand mufflers etc...

Generally if you have the same mufflers such as Flowmaster Super 44's (1 DI/DO vs. 2 SI/SO's) the setup with the two mufflers will be louder.
If you do decide to go this route it would be best to get an X-Pipe or at least an H-Pipe to even out the sound. It will quieten the overall sound but most of the time it will still be a little louder than a similar DI/DO setup with the same mufflers. In my opinion the sound of an X or H-Piped setup is "cleaner" and just sounds better.
