TV Licensing harassment

TV Licensing visit my home for the third time despite numerous letters explaining that we don't own a TV and despite the fact that I allowed them to search the premises the last time they visited

@XMatt69X Wow! What a rip off. That's around $750, $60 a month. Something like that could possibly get some of these fat asses who watch 18 hours of TV a day in my country, to actually get up from the couch and protest something. Thanks for the info.

@FastBrian1 t.v licence is like 450 a year i think, i don't get tv cos it's just evil rubbish. just watch recycled t.v on the iplayer thay can't charge for that, mind even thats garbagge. i told them to feck off years ago they stopped coming when i told them i was going to call the police and have them for harassment if they persisted with their current behaviour that was like 7 years ago, not even a letter for someone else now :( i'd like a letter cos i love fucking with these people :P

I'm besides myself to find out that the UK has a license to watch TV. They should be paying you to watch their programming. In all reality ... here in the US we have so many TV addicted couch potatoes, a tax like this would literally start a violent revolution. It just would not fly. They would have to pay the inspectors hazard or combat pay and have police detailed for their protection.

The have to proove your watching live broadcast only, i watch dvd's and play games on mine.

If you let them in your a mug period.

They come to your door, you reply sorry not today, any questions given, you reply "am i obliged to answer" and tell them to go away FACT.

@MrBoltonlee you should be able to harrass someone based on hearsay. if you have a tv but arent using it to recieve live broadcasts, why should you have to pay for a license? it doesnt make any sense .
