Hama:
Sounds of explosions in the city, and gunfire in the Qusour neighborhood.

Daraa:
Nahti: Intensive clashes going between regime army and defectors in the town

Homs:
Three homes were set on fire after being shelled by RPG bombs in the neighborhood of Baba Amr, and heavy gunfire from heavy weaponry was opened on the neighborhood from Jisr Aljamaa (the university bridge)

Rastan: Heavy gunfire and artillery shelling in the town after a raid conducted by army and security forces in farm areas. The forces used heavy military vehicles, BMPs, and Shilkas to comb the area in search of defectors and activists

Damascus:
Heavy gunfire between the neighborhoods of Barzeh and Qaboun

The number of martyrs reached so far to 36 martyrs, eight martyrs in Hama,
Five martyrs in Homs, two martyrs in Daraa and the rest is in Idlib

The LCC has also documented 376 martyrs thus far in December alone; these
were victims of army and security forces' gunfire. Among the martyrs are 28
male children; 6 female children; and 17 women, 25 died under torture.

Funny that your the one that came up with this verse hhh. The verse "and men are a degree above them" relates to the previous sentence that depicts the degree in kindness towards one and other in a family.
