Stop the release of this serial offender. Deemed unable to control his urges, this monster is about to be released after spending only 2 years of an indefinite term that was imposed. Marshall has been sexually abusing children since 1987.

Mark Trevor Marshall, 41, has a record of abusing children since June 1987 and his pending release just two years after the Supreme Court jailed him indefinitely has raised safety fears among his victims.

A SERIAL pedophile jailed indefinitely for being unwilling to control his sexual urges could be released from custody.

Supreme Court Justice Margaret Nyland said she would allow Mark Trevor Marshall to apply for his release if appropriate accommodation was confirmed.

"Let's hope for your sake and the community you can get yourself sorted out and you don't have to see yourself back in jail again," she said.

Marshall, 41, has been sexually abusing children since at least 1987.

He will have to satisfy the Parole Board he is suitable for release from prison.

The last time he was released into the community he sexually abused children three times within a year.

Justice Nyland jailed Marshall indefinitely as an uncontrollable sexual predator in 2009.

June 5 1987, Marshall was sentenced to 13 counts of indecent assault, all involving children, to a 3 month suspended sentence. In just over 2 years was back B4 the court for 7 counts of indecent assault against girls aged between 5 & 7 for which he received a 16 month nonparole period on April 4th 1990.
He was again convicted of 3 counts against a girl aged 11 and a boy aged 6 in 1992, and again in 1996 to one count and one charge of procuring a child to expose her body for which he received a nonparole period of 4 years.
He is currently incarceration for trying to have 9 rolls of film developed of a 3 year old girl in various sexual positions. He was given an indefinite sentence but, is now being released in a few weeks, back into the community. There were also several cases that were "thrown" out of court as the children were too young or his story too convincing. There are victims coming forward to this date.
