does it work for rendering in Computer graphics? I am using aqsis (an open source renderman renderer). When i did this command ppss -d /home/mohan/newmosaic/Mosaic/ -c 'aqsis PASS1-Scene-DEFAULT.rib ' , the software is re-rendering the same frame twice (means redoing the job twice)

@mohanohi - probably not, your aqsis softward should be rewritten to support parallel rendering. You can ofcourse use PPSS to render multiple scenes in parallel. Thus, if you have pass1-scene-default.rib, pass1-scene-2.rib, pass1-scene-3.rib, it would parallel render these three files.
