"Hitman in the Hand of Buddha", starring Hwang Jang Lee, Fan Mei Sheng and Eddy Ko. My onscreen logo should never have had a dash where it says "Kung Fu," so it's gone from here on. Now, this is one of the ultimate "auteur" films of the genre, with superkicker Hwang doing pretty much everything in this film except gripping and gaffing. Okay, just writing, starring, producing and directing. I'm amazed at the amount of grunting in this film, as well as some of the best trash-talking in the fu flick business.
I knew I recognized the bad guy. He was in Lethal Weapon 4, the grandfather..Hong I think it was? I never knew he was in any of the chop socky movies.

Those cockney accents are still better than Dick Van Dyke's in "Maury Poppins".

I serously doubt westerners truly dub these video. Sounds as though they hired asian dubbers (with mininal knoweledge on english) to voice these...

Poor Hwang Jang Lee; he always seems to get overdubbed with the goofiest voices. I'd feel sorry for him if he wasn't such a badass.
Incidentally, the same actor dubbed his voice in Hell's Wind Staff (albeit with a gruffer tone) and made him sound equally foolish. I'd love to know if he dubbed ol' Hwang in any other films.
