Sue Q's house was almost completely engulfed by the federal flood that followed Hurricane Katrina. The Army Corps Of Engineers' negligence destroyed her home. On June 8, 2006, Sue had her home demolished to make way for rebuilding.

  • interesting they did not want to fix the house

  • There was nothing worth fixing. This house was near where the levees broke and only the tiniest bit of the peak of the home was sticking out of the water. The house was a total loss. The realities of what happened here have obviously escaped you.

  • Black mould alone would cause a house to be non repairable.

  • Nice Lookin Komatsu PC128US-2 excavator, too bad for the BS lookin stiff thumb

  • after a flood of that destruction its worth building new. i have rebuilt some homes that were flooded but if this house was near were the levees broke this house had front row seats to the flood.
