Moon demo on CoCo 3

Moon demo running on the Tandy Color Computer 3.
This was a test demo to see if the CoCo could pull off multi-scrolling with graphics overlayed on top. The demo uses a combination of hardware trickery plus graphics drawn on top of the segmented multi-scrolling screen.

This demo is amazing. How can you scroll by 1 pixel step? Thumbs up!

It scrolls by 2 pixel steps by using the 256-byte wide mode and dividing the screen into two 128-byte copies side-by-side, 2nd copy stored at an odd byte boundry. It alternates between the two when scrolling. (Similar trick used in "Demo 1" for the wavy Sock Master logo.)

One day you should turn this idea into a moon patrol tribute game...if you have the spare time...it would be fun to see. The DK and Pacman games are awesome... Moon patrol is a natural.
