Based on a true story. After graduating from Emory University in 1990, top student and athlete Christopher McCandless abandoned his possessions, gave his entire $24,000 savings account to charity and hitchhiked to Alaska to live in the wilderness. Along the way, Christopher encounters a series of characters who shape his life.

Honnêtement, jamais je n'ai vu une telle merveille. Quelle beauté ce film. Il a complètement et incontestablement changé ma vie, la perception de celle-ci... Je ne m'en remettrai jamais, car je sais que c'est une pensée folle d'espérer pouvoir vivre tout ce qu'il a vécu, mais j'ose encore y croire, me fixant comme unique but cet ultime objectif. Les vraies valeurs de la vie ne sont apprises que par ce moyen là. Mon Dieu, j'en ai des frissons, c'est juste grandiose, encore plus avec Eddie... <3

I never really had this feeling of life before i saw this movie. We really need to look around, to simple things, we need to open our souls to feel what we need to feel. We are stuck at the moral principles and we forget to live as we lived when we were children... I'm not saying you gotta leave your house and your family and walk away, living in the wild. You just need to feel these things like wind, and sun, and rain, and love, and joy and wonder more deeply.
