If you are familiar with the story, Chris Mccandless found college pointless.
You don't need "college" to live your life.
If anything, most people waste vast amounts of time and money in college.

What a cool movie, and I appreciate what this guy was about... but with a sad ending to a life un-finished. I lived in Alaska for 7 years. Most Alaskans are smart about their place in the wild. Love it and enjoy it, but also know the wilderness can swallow you up with one careless misstep.

Watched the film last night,
was honestly one of the best I have ever seen, made me cry, laugh, and wish I had enough balls to just leave and do what I wanted in life.
