The Apocryphal Book of Tobit

I hope you enjoy my rendering of The Apocryphal Book of Tobit.
The Book of Tobit was written about 200 B.C. It tells the story of a religious Israelite named Tobit who was carried as a captive to Nineveh by the Assyrians.
I really enjoyed this book; if you like the book of Enoch I think you will like this book of Tobit.
Here is what Wiki says about it.
The main narrative is dedicated to Tobit's son, Tobiah or Tobiyah (Greek: Τωβίας/Tobias), who is sent by his father to collect a sum of money that the latter had deposited some time previously in the far off land of Media. Raphael represents himself as Tobit's kinsman Azariah, and offers to aid and protect Tobias on his journey. Under the guidance of Raphael, Tobias makes the journey to Media, accompanied by his dog.

This book contains the Ark Angel Raphael,
The name Raphael in Hebrew means.
"It is God who heals", "God Heals", "God, Please Heal", Arabic: إسرافيل‎, Isrāfāʾīl)

The Apocrypha has been a part of the bible for many years and I think its loaded with great stories and lessons we can all benefit from.
God has spoken through people, places and things for ages. When you hear truth you will know its true. He who has an ear; let him hear..

This book is not inspire by God, and this people were really deceived just like it happens today with the christian religion. There are many denominations and great confusion.

@roaringwaterbaythere the books of Wisdom which hebrews quotes, Sirach and Baruch who was a prophet and student of Jeremiah etc and etc Wisdom was written by Solomon you have no authority to claim what is scripture or not. Maccabees 1 and 2 is canonical the New testament refers to its tales of martyrdom as well.....these books have huge typology as all the books do. How about Judith? Which parallels the Blessed Virgin Mary's attack on the serpent, "striking at the head" beheading the snake

@Ahbayah most of these are on Librivox or Internet Archives websites. There are 7 books Catholics and Orthodox have in their OT that Protestants do not: Tobit, Judith,Wisdom,Sirach,Baruch, I & II Maccabees. Catholics call them the deuterocanon and Protestants call them apocrypha. These 7 books were in every Bibles up to the time of the Reformation. Protestants had them in their Bibles for a while, but removed them in the 1600's. I have the entire Book of Judith on my channel.

if you put your faith in books that are not in the Bible you open yourself to deception. either you believe the the Lord is able to keep his word pure or you dont and will end up like the mormons or islam both of which started from people who thought that they needed more than what God has provided or believed to be corrupted It says HOLY BIBLE. how can you believe what the bible says if you dont believe the cover? then its just another book

@roaringwaterbay Its not in a lot of the new bibles and considered Apocrypha thats why I put that in the title. There are lots of books that are great for history and background that are not in the bible. The book of Enoch is not in the Protestant bible but I believe it to be inspired. Jesus, and Moses quoted the book of Enoch.

It was in the canon of the day. You have to keep in mind God didnt hand Moses the book of John. Jesus didnt teach from the book of Mathew. They are many inspired books.
