You have no idea what you are even talking about. First off every shot you popped off that killed a guy, they where already mostly dead with 10% of their life gone. Snipers as they are now in Tribes Ascend are ridiculously underpowered period. The scope doesn't magnify for shit and it has no power, look how many times you shot that Juggernaut and he barely even got scratched. Never mind the reticule is off and doesn't hit where your aiming. People like you whine about snipers its pathetic.

A further note: If you'd like to see a good example of the rifle at work in a map that features very open territory ripe for sniping, watch the R vs IA tribes 2 T2TV footage. That will show you that the rifle is effective, but by no means a foolproof way to defend your flag, even on a map on which, like Surreal (the map featured in the T2TV match), you can snipe from flagstand to flagstand.

Snipers have been in every tribes title... having a good sniper is equivilant to having a good flag capper, you were playing with newbs... In team play, you could not do what you were doing.
