Bach Musette in G Major Piano Tutorial

Bach's "Musette in G", played Andante pastorale, is a popular piece for beginning piano students. The piece is taken from the English Suite No. 3, BWV 808. Its Gavotte II is marked "ou la Musette".

On a digital keyboard, the clavichord or harpsichord setting will be more true to sound. The sustain pedal is uncalled for. Notice how the left hand pinky holds down the G.
